The latest edition of the Concacaf Gold Cup is set to kick-off on June 24, with the USMNT looking to go back-to-back in the competition after lifting the 2021 edition of the trophy.
The 2023 installment of the Gold Cup features the expected national teams like USA, Mexico, Canada and Costa Rica; but there are several newcomers to the tournament such as St. Kitts and Nevis.
Qatar, who were invited as part of a partnership between the Qatar Football Federation and Concacaf, will make their second appearance at the Gold Cup after making it to the semifinals in 2021. Alongside St. Kitts and Nevis, Martinique and Guadeloupe were the final three teams to qualify for the Gold Cup.
