The Lakers were able to beat the Golden State Warriors, 122-101 in a Game 6 that allowed L.A. to move on to the next round of the playoffs. LeBron James and Anthony Davis both had big games.

The Lakers were able to control this game throughout with an amazing offensive performance. Klay Thompson gave the Lakers an easy chance to take the lead with all of the threes missed. He kept chucking them up and L.A. took advantage of it.

Dennis Schroder got ejected in the third quarter after starting the game. Golden State would cut into the lead and look like they would at least make this game interesting throughout the affair, but the Lakers were able to keep it comfortable.

3 reasons that the Lakers would win game six over the Golden State

Austin Reaves

Austin Reaves played a very solid game for the Lakers on their way to helping the Lakers to the Western Conference finals. He was solid as a secondary playmaker for the Lakers in this game. Reaves ended up making up a half-court heave to send it into halftime.

Reaves ended up with 23 points on 58 percent shooting, and making four of five from downtown.

Anthony Davis

Anthony Davis ended up with a monster night on the boards. He ended up with 20 REBOUNDS in this game. Additionally, he had 17 points on a very efficient shooting night, but his main accomplishment in this game was controlling the paint.

In this game, Davis completely controlled those areas on his way to another Western Conference Finals appearance.

LeBron James

LeBron James was the best player on the court in this game. He was able to manhandle the Warriors with his 71 percent shooting from the floor. Additionally, he ended up with a clean 30 points in this game. He nearly had another triple-double in this game with nine assists and just as many rebounds.

James was key in transition buckets for the Lakers in this game. Additionally, the King made two of his three attempted threes in this game. On the offensive end, he really did it all.

With another Western Conference Finals appearance for the King, the debate over who is the GOAT could change in the next month. If LeBron James is able to win title No. 5, it might make add to his argument vs. Jordan all-time. Still, that is a debate for another day with plenty of basketball left to play.

Plenty of questions arise for the Warriors going forward after this loss and it seems it may be the end of an era. Will Joe Lacob pay all of that luxury tax money that comes with a Klay and Dray extension or is this the end for the Dubs?
