The Bundesliga Team of the Season is officially live in FIFA 22 and features some of the best TOTS cards we've seen yet in the game. Some of the most meta cards were expected to come in FIFA 22, even causing leakers to suggest that the Bundesliga TOTS would be better than the Premier League. So far, it doesn't disappoint.
There are some elite-caliber cards available in the Bundesliga TOTS. Here are our five favorites from the team.
5. Florian Wirtz (CAM, Leverkusen: 95 Rated)
Wirtz has been of the rising stars in the Bundesliga since replacing Kai Havertz at Leverkusen last season. He's had some great cards in FIFA 22 already, previously peaked at his 92-rated Future Stars card. His TOTS comes in with 97 dribbling and 93 pace, with great shooting for a CAM and top-passing stats. He looks to be best at his native CAM position, however, he has the pace and dribbling to be great going down the wing as well. This is a top-level card, and we can expect more TOTS cards from the budding German star in the future.
4. Joshua Kimmich (CDM, Bayern Munich, 97 Rated)
The fourth-best Bundesliga TOTS being 97 rated proves that the Bundesliga TOTS is definitely one of the best we've seen yet in the TOTS promo. Kimmich already has a 94-rated Headliners item in FIFA 22, but the TOTS card shows shades of his TOTY item in FIFA 21, with amazing stats for an all-around midfielder. His defense is 95 overall rated, and he also has the passing and dribbling stats to play on the ball himself as a CM or even CAM. When it comes to box-to-box midfielders, Kimmich is one of the best in the world and is always one of the best in FIFA each year.
3. Robert Lewandowski ( ST, Bayern Munich, 97-Rated)
Lewandowski already has a TOTY item in FIFA 22 that is slightly better than his TOTS item, however, this TOTS item is still a very elite card. With a five-star weak foot upgrade just like his TOTY, Lewandowski's TOTS card can shoot from anywhere in the final third, and 97 shooting almost guarantees at least one goal every game. He also has upgraded dribbling and pace that makes him more light on the ball, which is one of the few problems with his base-gold card in FIFA. Overall, Lewandowski is one of the more complete players in the Bundesliga TOTS, and if you can't get the TOTY, his TOTS is a solid alternative.
2. Christopher Nkunku (CF, RB Leipzig: 96-Rated)
One of the most highly-anticipated TOTS cards from the Bundesliga was Christopher Nkunku, who has had one of the most dominant FIFA campaigns in recent memory. He has received 11 special cards in FIFA this year, including four POTM SBCs. While some expected a higher-rated card, Nkunku still looks like one of the best TOTS cards we've received so far. His upgrade to four-star weak foot makes this card much better than his previous 10 special cards, and he has the stats of a top striker, winger, or any kind of midfielder. His medium-medium work rates make him a great box-to-box midfielder, with good defending and physical.
However, he also still has 98 dribbling and 97 passing, as well as top pace and shooting. This makes for one of the most well-rounded, overpowered cards in FIFA. He would easily be ranked number one on our list, if it wasn't for a certain Dortmund English wonderkid.
1. Jude Bellingham (CM, Dortmund: 96-Rated)
Bellingham has 90+ in every face stat on his TOTS card, putting him in the notorious Nainggolan Gang, a nod to Radja Nainggolan's FIFA 17 TOTS card. With high-high work rates, Bellingham can play anywhere in the midfield, and will no doubt be the go-to midfielder for players who can afford him. This TOTS is undoubtedly the best midfielder available in not just TOTS, but all of the FIFA.
If you can pair him next to the TOTS Ryan Gravenberch from the Eredivise TOTS, you won't find a better duo in the midfield than that.
