50-year-old Warzone player DanTheRanger won their first Warzone solos match after two years of attempts.

Every now and then in the Call of Duty community, we get heartwarming stories that show why gaming can be special. This is one of those stories.

Reddit user DanTheRanger, who turns 50 this year, has been trying to record their first solo win in Warzone for two years. And on their first try playing the new Fortune's Keep map, they finally secured the win.

"1st Solo win in any mode and 1st time I played the new map :)," DanTheRanger said in his post. "Honestly as a soon to be 50 year old man I’m over the moon,2 bloody years it’s taken me hahaha."

Their post receive plenty of upvotes and support from other players, with one user saying "Congratulations! ive been at it for 3 years and only have one win in any game mode!" DanTheRanger's post currently has just under 2,500 upvotes and there are 164 comments congratulating him on his accomplishment.

DanTheRanger may have even recruited some new teammates for their next match, as Reddit user Paulrevere1188 asked if there is a dad discord for players of the same age and mindset to link up together. This proves that no matter the age, gaming is for everyone. Congratulations again DanTheRanger!
