A lot of changes are set to arrive in Apex Legends' upcoming Season 16: Revelry, including a number of buffs and nerfs.
With each new season, Apex Legends players usually have to adjust to a number of changes be they big or small. But, in Season 16, it seems that there's going to be more major changes than usual to get used to. The biggest of the lot being a change to the Class system, in which all Legends will be getting a rework and categorized into one of five new classes.
Because of this, players will likely need to get acquainted with a number of buffs and nerfs, not just for the Legends but weapons too.
Apex Legends Season 16 Sees Nerfs to All Assault Rifles
For the upcoming Season 16, players can expect to see some changes to the meta. This will come in the wake of nerfs to all assault rifles. These guns have traditionally proven to be popular not just in Apex, but all FPS games, owing to their rate-of-fire and versatilitly.
In Season 16, players can expect to see a decrease in hip fire accuracy. Those who shy away from ADS will have a harder time hitting their targets.
The R-301 will see not only a hip fire accuracy nerf but a damage reduction, too. It's possible these changes will see the weapon drop out of favor with players. Previously the R-301 achieved 14 damage per shot. Now, it will now only do 13, meaning players will need to generally hit more bullets into a target to take it down.
