Tottenham have finalised the appointment of Ange Postecoglou as their new manager.
Spurs have been on the hunt for a new boss ever since Antonio Conte left the club in March. It was his assistant, Cristian Stellini, who initially assumed temporary control, but Ryan Mason ended the season as caretaker in an attempt to restore some stability to the first team.
Behind the scenes, Tottenham looked at a whole host of potential candidates to take over as manager, including the likes of Julian Nagelsmann, Luis Enrique and Feyenoord's Arne Slot, but they have finally settled on Postecoglou, who has inked a four-year deal at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
“Ange brings a positive mentality and a fast, attacking style of play," said chairman Daniel Levy. "He has a strong track record of developing players and an understanding of the importance of the link from the academy - everything that is important to our Club.
"We are excited to have Ange join us as we prepare for the season ahead."
