Apex Legends Season 18 has been live for over a month, and yet fans still have not found the missing Blue Nessie.
Nessies are small, fan-favorite Easter Eggs hidden throughout Apex Legends by the developers. The tiny creatures come in blue, pink, gold, and green, and resemble plush versions of the Loch Ness Monster. They carry no real in-game use, but fans love searching for and finding the plushies in Apex Legends.
In Apex Legends Season 17, players could only find the blue Nessie by killing a Practice Dummy with a Throwing Knife. Then, when they traveled to the center balcony in the Firing Range, blue Nessie appeared. The Easter Egg was quickly found in Season 17, but it looks like it is still missing in Apex Legends Season 18.
Blue Nessie Remains Missing in Apex Legends Season 18
There is currently a blue Nessie somewhere in the Apex Legends Season 18 Firing Range that is still missing. Even after a month of gameplay, no one has managed to find the hidden creature. In fact, some believed there simply was no blue Nessie this season until Respawn Entertainment's Ian Holstead confirmed its existence.
Holstead posted, "Still no sign of the blue nessie though..." When asked if the missing blue Nessie is related to the Nessie balloons, Holstead replied, "It's not related. I wanted to make a little something people could do with the nessies they collect. It's not much, but I hoped people could have fun decorating their firing ranges a bit."
He concluded, "Ended up a bit more hidden than I intended!"
With Holstead's confirmation, more and more Apex Legends players are determined to find the Easter Egg in Season 18. Blue Nessie is hiding somewhere in the Firing Range, and it is only a matter of time before someone spots the beloved creature.
