Every summer you see multiple injuries for teams during training camp, and you always feel bad for guys who have their seasons cut short before they could even get started. Unfortunately, this appears to be the case for Denver Broncos wideout Tim Patrick.
During practice on Monday, Patrick went down with a non-contact injury and he was carted off the field. According to Adam Schefter, the Broncos believe that he tore his Achilles, which would result in him being out for the 2023 campaign. Just brutal:
To make this even more heartbreaking for Patrick, the WR suffered a torn ACL and missed the 2022 season. He was on the comeback trail, hoping to become a reliable option for veteran quarterback Russell Wilson.
Instead, Patrick will now likely have to wait until 2024 to suit up for this team again. We'll have the official word soon, but things aren't looking good for him.
