Draymond Green had harsh words for Celtics fans after their loss to Miami: "But I must say — it did not hurt me to watch the Boston Celtics fans suffer."

The Eastern Conference Finals have been an emotional roller coaster for Celtics fans. To Boston's credit, what seemed like a lopsided series at first suddenly turned into a seven-game battle. After Derrick White's put-back buzzer-beater tied the series up at 3-3, many believed Boston would close out this series at home. However, to Draymond Green's delight, this would not be the case.

The Boston Celtics' dreams of being the first team in history to recover from a 3-0 deficit were ultimately crushed. They lost to the Miami Heat at home in Game 7. Draymond Green took to his podcast, "The Draymond Green Show" to respond, or more accurately, rub some salt in the Celtics' fans' wounds. Here's what he said:

"Quite frankly, for the second year in a row in a big close-out game, the Boston fans suffer. Boston Celtics fans will make excuses and I ain't hearing none of that s***, because y'all rude and I'm happy y'all lost."

Draymond Green has never been a fan of the Celtics

It's safe to say that Dray and the Celtics organization are still at odds. Keep in mind that Draymond Green and the Boston Celtics are not strangers. They faced off in the NBA Finals last year, and the Warriors closed out that series in six games.

If the question is whether or not these players take what opposing teams' fans scream at them into account, I'd say yes, they absolutely do. Now, Draymond Green clearly has a problem with Celtics fans. Maybe this helps to show exactly what it takes to be effective as an agitator in the NBA today, and how some things must be taken personally. Draymond has played that role remarkably well throughout his career. So, it's no surprise he doesn't hesitate to call out and beef with a historic franchise's entire fanbase.

The Celtics have had another disappointing season, so it's hard not to wonder what the offseason will bring. Is the end near for Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown? Will Joe Mazzulla get the opportunity to pick his staff this offseason, or have the Celtics already seen enough?
