Chelsea got their 2023/24 campaign underway with an encouraging showing against Liverpool on Sunday.
The Blues came from behind to earn a point in Mauricio Pochettino's first competitive game in charge thanks to a goal from new signing Axel Disasi.

Chelsea's best player vs Liverpool
Enzo Fernandez - 8/10
90min's man of the match on Sunday, Enzo Fernandez put in his best performance in a Chelsea shirt in the draw with Liverpool at Stamford Bridge.
Classy on the ball, and a willing runner off of it, the Argentine World Cup winner showed why the Blues forked out £017m for his services in January.
Expect to see this level of performance much more consistently with Mauricio Pochettino as the club's manager this season.
Honourable mention
Nicolas Jackson - 7/10
One of Chelsea's standout performers in pre-season put in yet another impressive showing this weekend.
The new signing, while not exactly deadly in front of goal on Sunday, cause Liverpool's backline a whole host of problems with his darts in behind.
If he continues to play like this then the goals will start flowing very, very soon.
Chelsea's worst player vs Liverpool
Robert Sanchez - 5/10
The ex-Brighton and Hove Albion goalkeeper wasn't really made to work too hard by Liverpool, but his extraordinarily ropey pass out from his own penalty almost cost his team late in the game.
Dishonourable mention
Carney Chukwuemeka - 5/10
The 19-year-old was by no means 'bad' on Sunday, however he wasn't particularly effective out on the left flank either.
