World Cup Path to Glory is a special card type awarded to players competing at the World Cup. These players upgrade depending on how far their countries go in the tournament. The farther they progress, the better the cards become. As well, players can receive five-star skill and weak foot upgrades.

- Superb Finisher - Score six goals using players with a min. four-star weak foot in the Live FUT Friendly: Glorious Journey
- Bundesliga Leader - Assist six goals using a Bundesliga player in the Live FUT Friendly: Glorious Journey
- Skilled Forward - Score and assist using a Forward in four separate matches in the Live FUT Friendly: Glorious Journey
- Lucky Eight - Win eight matches in the Live FUT Friendly: Glorious Journey
Completing each objective and the full set will net players the standard experience and packs.
Choupo-Moting's upgraded item looks like a great, free striker to add to Bundesliga squads. The player has been on fine form for Bayern Munich as well heading into the World Cup. But, players have to keep in mind how many times these items can get upgraded.
Cameroon faces Serbia, Switzerland and Brazil in Group G. It's not an impossible group to get out of, but it will be a tough task. On the other hand, it is a free card to play for that's available for a week.
