Things could not be better for Dallas Cowboys fans on Monday morning. Last night, America's Team traveled to East Rutherford to take on an NY Giants squad hungry to record an upset. That didn't happen - not even close.
In wild fashion, the Cowboys handed the Giants an embarrassing 40-0 loss. Everything was perfect for the Cowboys, but that wasn't the case for New York. The Giants couldn't get anything done on offense.
Special teams was a nightmare for New York too, highlighted by letting a Graham Gano field-goal attempt get blocked in the first quarter, which was returned 58 yards for a score. The offense barely broke a sweat either.
As for the defense, the Cowboys recorded seven sacks of Daniel Jones. The NY offensive line had no answer for the Dallas pass-rush. All in all, this was simply way too easy for the Cowboys. The Giants had so much buzz ahead of the matchup, but they dropped the ball in a massive way.
