A statement, posted to Twitter, read, "Arena Battle Champions, Deus Ex GO, Hitman Sniper: The Shadows and Space Invaders: Hidden Heroes will by shutting down on January 4th."

All of the affected games will be removed from the App Store and Google Play Store on Dec. 1, 2022 with current players unable to continue playing the games past Jan. 4. Months after being acquired by Embracer Group and renamed from Square Enix Monteal, Studio Onoma is being closed down. Embracer had announced in May that it had agreed to acquire a large part of Square Enix‘s western development studios for $300 million. The group of studios included Crystal Dynamics, Eidos Montreal, Square Enix Montréal, and a variety of IPs including Tomb Raider and Deus Ex.
