Vasiliy Lomachenko lost his lightweight belts back in 2020, losing to Teofimo Lopez via unanimous decision, but now Lomachenko has the rare opportunity to once again become the undisputed champ.
This time, it won't be Lopez he'll be fighting. It will be Devin Haney, who is the current lightweight undisputed champion.
Lomachenko's belts have gone on a journey since he lost them to Lopez a few years ago. Lopez went on to immediately lose them to George Kambosos Jr, who then fought and lost to Haney on two separate occasions.
Can Lomachenko complete his journey of recapturing his former glory?
Let's find out what the oddsmakers think.

Haney vs. Lomachenko prediction
Just because Lomachenko has won three straight fights since losing his belts, doesn't mean he's back to his former self. The three opponents he faced aren't near the level of title contender and his latest opponent, Jamaine Ortiz, doesn't even have a Wikipedia page, which is never a good sign.
Lomachenko is also 35 years old, and at his size, he can't afford to lose any speed which is usually the first thing to go with age.
Meanwhile, Devin Haney is the real deal. He sports a 29-0 record at just 24 years old, and he has plenty of power with 15 of his 29 wins coming via KO/TKO.
If you don't feel like laying the -275 juice, might I suggest betting on how the fight will be finished.
Lomachenko has never lost via KO or TKO, but the time comes for every boxer who has ever competed in the sport. He has the speed and power disadvantage against Haney, and at 35 years old, his days in the ring are numbered.
At +500, there is some real value on Haney finishing the fight inside the distance.
Pick: Haney (-275) via KO/TKO (+500)
