It's always good to have some personal milestones to aim for. Miami Dolphins Pro Bowl wide receiver Tyreek Hill has something very big in mind.

A year ago, the Miami Dolphins endured a rollercoaster season which resulted in the franchise's first playoff appearance since 2016. Mike McDaniel's club won its first three games, dropped its next three contests, reeled off five consecutive victories, lost its next five games, and then knocked off the Jets in Week 18 to grab a wild-card berth.

The team's big offseason addition in 2022 was wide receiver Tyreek Hill, whom general manager Chris Grier gave up plenty for in terms of draft choices. The former Kansas City Chiefs star did not disappoint and enjoyed a career year in terms of catches (119) and receiving yards (1,710). He also caught seven TD passes and earned Pro Bowl honors for the seventh time in as many seasons. He was also named All-Pro for the fourth time in his brief career.

Tyreek Hill wants to break Calvin Johnson's NFL record with Dolphins in 2023

While a Super Bowl championship is the likely goal for every NFL player, Hill also has something else in mind in 2023.

In the past four seasons, we have seen four of the top 11 seasons in the league in terms of receiving yardage. Saints' wideout Michael Thomas caught a record 149 passes and his 1,725 yards rank ninth all-time.

In 2021, Rams' star Cooper Kupp made quite a run at Calvin Johnson's mark of 1,964 yards in 2012. Of course, Kupp's 1,947 yards came in 17 games (second-most in NFL history) while the Detroit Lions' Pro Football Hall of Famer played in 16 contests in '12.

This past season, Vikings' wide receiver Justin Jefferson finished with 1,809 yards, the sixth-most in league annals. Hill's 1,710 yards in 2022 ranks 11th on the list.

The Dolphins' burner managed to put up astounding numbers despite the fact that the club relied on three different starting quarterbacks (Tua Tagovailoa, Skylar Thompson and Teddy Bridgewater). What could he do with a healthy Tagovailoa? It's going to be fun to watch.
