CoD pro Crimsix recently joked that an early Modern Warfare 2 build looked like a mobile game.
Activision's next entry into the long-running Call of Duty franchise, Modern Warfare 2, has already been subjected to plenty of leaks. From weapons, to maps, to returning modes, it seems like there's very little we haven't already seen from the new game — and it hasn't even released yet.
Call of Duty pro, and ex-New York Subliners player Ian "Crimsix" Porter revealed in a recent stream that he already had the chance to check out an early build of the game. On Aug. 16, Crimsix revealed to fans some of his initial thoughts on Modern Warfare 2.
"This is a joke, I'll just say it," he began. "When I was playing it, on my $5,000 computer, I was legitimately wondering is this the build they made for android? Or is this the iPhone version?"
While this reaction will no doubt drum up some concerns for fans, Crimsix did have positive thoughts on the upcoming game.
"Don't get me wrong, I thought it was pretty good. I thought it was sorta fun."
It's worth noting these pro players were given access to an early build of the game, one that might not necessarily be an overall reflection of the finished product. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is set to release on Oct. 28, with beta access set to start a month prior. Players will soon get to see for themselves the true state of Modern Warfare 2, and whether the finished product will hopefully incite some more faith.
