The player ratings for Manchester United's FIFA 23 roster were leaked yesterday Aug. 30 in a clear mix-up by EA officials.
A relatively unimportant update to FIFA 22 that launched the night of the 28 somehow led to Xbox players being able to download and even play FIFA 23 a full month ahead of its release. Leakers like @WeaverFUT and many others took full advantage of a back door into FIFA 23 by publishing content for their followers and the entire internet to see.
Weaver's focus was on bringing FIFA 23 player ratings from many popular clubs to the public eye. Since yesterday, many of those tweets containing proprietary information have been deleted. The reason why they were removed remains unclear. Luckily, some screenshots remain.

One of those screenshots provides intel on player ratings for one of the most well-loved (and likewise most hated) clubs in the world, Manchester United FC.
Here are the player ratings for the Red Devils' FIFA 23 roster, ranked highest to lowest.
- Ronaldo - 90
- Casemiro - 89
- De Gea - 87
- Fernandes - 86
- Varane - 84
- Sancho - 84
- Rashford - 81
- Maguire - 81
- Martinez - 81
- Fred - 80
- McTominay - 80
- Eriksen - 80
- Martial - 80
- Shaw - 80
- Lindelof - 80
- Malacia - 79
- Dalot - 78
- Elanga - 74
From this information, it's obvious how stacked their roster is. With only one player ranked below 75, FUT managers will surely be glad to pack the majority of these players once the FIFA 23 FUT season begins. If this information remains true through the game's official release, it will mark the first time in several years that 90 rated Ronaldo is not the clear best player in the game, losing out to De Bruyne, Benzema, Mbappe, Lewandowski and Messi, who all share a 91 rating.
