It has been a tale of two games so far in the College World Series.
The LSU Tigers beat the Florida Gators in Game 1 by a slim 4-3 margin, but then Florida got its revenge in Game 2, winning by a record-setting score of 24-4. The Gators became the first team to ever score 24 runs in a single game at the College World Series.
Now, the two teams will face-off in a winner-take-all Game 3 on Monday night. Let's dive into the odds for the game and then I'll give you my best bet.

Florida vs. LSU prediction and pick
Your immediate reaction to seeing the score of Sunday's Game 2 may be to quickly bet on Florida. After all, how could a team lose after winning 24-4?
Well, that's baseball for you. In fact, just look at this weekend's MLB slate. The Los Angeles Angels beat the Colorado Rockies by a score of 25-1 on Saturday, then promptly lost to the Rockies on Sunday, 4-3.
LSU is the better team in this series and the oddsmakers recognize that, setting them as betting favorites in the tiebreaker.
The Tigers lead the Gators in both ERA and batting average this season. In ERA, LSU leads by a mark of 4.30 compared to 4.48 of Florida. When it comes to batting average, the Tigers hit at a rate of .307 and the Gators bat .291.
Add on top of that the Tigers are likely sending out their superstar ace, Paul Skenes, to the mound for the rubber match and LSU quickly becomes the obvious bet to make. He didn't pitch in the first two games of the final after throwing 120 pitches in the semi final, leading LSU to a win against Wake Forest.
He sports a 12-2 record with a 1.69 ERA on the season.
He'll face-off against Florida's No. 3 pitcher, Jac Caglianone, whose ERA is not nearly as impressive at 3.68.
LSU will bounce back and win the College World Series tonight.
