NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Discussions among left-wing creators on TikTok about Osama bin Laden's “Letter to America” have unfolded, with some expressing that its critiques of American foreign policy have opened their eyes to a history they hadn't learned before, according to a report from The Washington Post.

As videos of TikTokers reacting to bin Laden’s letter from 2002 continue to make the rounds on social media platforms, Fox News anchor Jesse Watters shared his take on the same on ‘Jesse Watters Primetime.’

A shocked and disgruntled Watters posed the question “What has happened to this generation?” as he shared details on the matter, and the internet was quick to weigh in.

Jesse Watters attacks ‘liberals’ after Osama bin Laden’s letter makes rounds

Fox News anchor Jesse Watters introduced his segment by talking about the Democratic Party, “America, do you feel what I’m feeling? It’s a full-blown civil war in the Democratic party, and we’ve heard the warning shots.”

To begin with, Watters spoke about “liberals trying to break into DNC headquarters,” before he moved on to the topic that has made headlines around the globe.

“The Democrats have lost control, not only are people trying to break into their headquarters but now young progressives are sympathizing with Osama bin Laden,” said Watters.

He continued, “Seriously. Bin Laden’s 2002 ‘Letter to America’ where he justifies the killing of 3000 Americans on 9/11, is making the rounds online, and people in this country think it’s great.”

Watters elaborated a little more on the letter, “Bin Laden writes in the letter that because America is a democracy, American citizens who vote for American politicians, and whose taxes fund our military are legitimate targets. Bin Laden is justifying murdering civilians and liberals agree.”

‘Jesse Watters Primetime’ then played a TikTok, where the person urged people to go read Osama bin Laden’s 2002 “Letter to America.”

“What the hell is happening to his generation?” asked a disgruntled Watters after the TikTok ended.

He continued, “How do we live in a country where people think bin Laden was right?” Watters then described the tragic events of 9/11, after which the internet weighed in on the Fox News anchor’s report.
