Future, rapper and former fiance of Ciara, let his feelings about Russell Wilson be heard loud and clear in a verse on his newest collaboration.
Russell Wilson has faced his share of criticism over the past year as his first season with the Broncos was an unmitigated disaster. But things have been looking up for the quarterback with a new head coach, optimism around the Denver offense and the fresh start of the 2023 season just around the corner.
That doesn't mean he isn't still catching strays.
Future brought up Wilson in his verse on Quavo's new song "Turn Yo Clic Up." It wasn't a very fond reference.

"I got it out the field. F*** Russell," the rapper dropped after the two-minute mark.
By now, Wilson should be familiar with Future's feelings for him. Ciara was engaged to Future in 2014. They share a son born in the same year. The following year, the singer started dating the quarterback. Early int he relationship, Future complained about Wilson being around his son on "The Breakfast Club."
On "Beats 1 Radio" in 2019, the rapper continued to speak ill of his exes' new man.
Wilson and Ciara married in 2016 and had the first of two children in 2017. So it's not like things haven't worked out for the couple, even with Future's commentary.
Wilson has taken the high road at every turn when it comes to the subject of Future, whose son he is helping to raise. It's tough to imagine this latest diss is going to get to the QB.
Instead, it's safe to say Wilson's attention is on getting ready for the upcoming Broncos training camp, which begins on Friday, July 28.
