We've put together a guide on Gloom's evolutions in Pokemon GO.
Congratulations! If you've arrived at this article, you've likely managed to evolve your adorable Oddish into its next form, Gloom. While Gloom, itself, is a marvelous species with great potential, the next step in this chain is to focus on what Gloom will turn into, next. Trainers have the choice of two Pokemon: Vileplume and Bellossom.
How to Evolve Gloom into Vileplume
Vileplume is also known as the "Flower" Pokemon. Its toxic pollen supposedly can trigger awful allergy attacks, which is why trainers are cautioned from approaching any flowers they see in the jungle. Its PokeDex number is #045. As such, it is considered the original or "default" final evolution of Oddish.
Evolving Gloom into Vileplume is simple. Trainers only need to collect 100 candies and then hit the "Evolve" button on their chosen Gloom. There is no level, time, or weather requirement to evolve into Vileplume â only the candy is necessary.
How to Evolve Gloom into Bellossom
Bellossom is the second final form introduced for Oddish. Discovered in the Johto region, Bellossom has several differences from its Kanto cousins. For example, Bellossom drops the poison-type the rest of its evolutionary family shares. However, it is still known as the "Flower" Pokemon, like Vileplume.
It is best known for its dancing â which is partially a result of its leaves spinning from absorbing sunlight. This is very popular in southern regions. Its PokeDex number is #182.
Gloom evolves into Bellossom with 100 candies and a Sun Stone â to replicate the sunlight it takes in. There is no level, time, or weather requirement to evolve into Bellossom.
