Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are here, and with it are countless new Pokémon exclusive to the Paldea region to catch. Prior to the game's release, several of these Pokémon were teased on social media. Among them is Greavard, the Ghost Dog Pokémon, who was first revealed in a tweet containing a short video back in October.
Now that the game has officially released, more information has been detailed about Greavard's stats and abilities. Here's what you need to know.
Greavard Evolution: Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
Greavard is a ghost-type Pokémon can evolve into a Houndstone once it has reached level 30 and when it is nighttime in-game. Like all ghost types, Greavard will be unaffected by normal type and fighting-type attacks, and will be effective against dark and ghost types.
Greavard Stats: Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
Greavard's stats are the following, and will see a major increase if it evolves into Houndstone:
- HP: 50
- Attack: 61
- Defense: 60
- Special Attack: 30
- Special Defense: 55
- Speed: 34
Greavard Location: Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
During its reveal video, Greavard was noted to often be underground, with only the lit candle on the top of its head peeking out from the ground. Because of this, finding a wild Greavard can be a difficult task, and can be almost impossible to see if you're traveling on a mount.
However, Greavard is a common Pokémon and can be found in ruins primarily in Glaseado Mountain. It can also be found near Dalizapa Passage in West Province (Area Three) and North Province (Area Three).
