Wondering how long Call of Duty: Warzone Caldera will be offline? Don't worry, we got you covered.
Big changes are coming for Call of Duty fans and one of the most intriguing changes is the relaunch of Warzone as Warzone Caldera. Warzone Caldera will be a separate experience from Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 and gives players the ability to continue using content from titles released before Modern Warfare 2.
Since Warzone Caldera is a separate experience, players should not expect any cross-progression between it and Warzone 2.0. Warzone Caldera will also not be featuring Rebirth Island or Fortune's Keep at launch, but a standard battle royale playlist will be present for players to enjoy. It also seems that Warzone Caldera fans will be missing out on any new Battle Pass and Store Bundle content, given that it will not feature an in-game store. Luckily, any COD points that you may have can be transferred between all Call of Duty titles.
How Long Will Warzone Caldera be Offline for?
According to a blog post by Activision, Warzone will go offline on Nov .16. This brief intermission will allow studio development led by Raven Software to focus all of its efforts on ensuring that Warzone 2.0 has a smooth and efficient launch. Once this and a small Thanksgiving break are taken care of, Warzone Caldera will launch on Nov. 28.
Although Warzone Caldera will be offline for a bit, fans can still play Warzone 2.0 in the meantime when it releases on Nov. 16.
