Wondering how to play with friends online in Tower of Fantasy? Here's what you need to know.
Tower of Fantasy is a new anime-style, open world MMO, drawing comparisons to the likes of Genshin Impact. Set in a sci-fi world, Tower of Fantasy drops players into a time where resources have dwindled on Earth leading many to migrate to the world of Aida. Players can explore the world with a host of characters, and also play alongside friends.
But knowing how to link up with friends in Tower of Fantasy can be a little confusing. Here's what you need to do.
How to Play Online Co-Op With Friends in Tower of Fantasy
It's important to note that the ability to play with friends isn't available right away. You'll need to complete the prologue, up until the point where you're given a jetpack. From there, you'll be able to see all of the other players in that server.
To team up with a friend, you'll need to find them in the open world and click on them. From there, you'll see a number of options — choose Add Friend if you haven't already. Once the friend request has been accepted, head to your Friends list via the in-game menu and click on their profile.
At the bottom you'll see the Team Invitations option where you'll be able to add them to your team. Together you can explore the open world, fight enemies and complete certain quests.
Story missions can only be done solo, however. Initiating one while part of the group will see all players put into solo instances.
