Wondering how to upgrade to the Vault Edition of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II? We've got you covered.
Now that the highly anticipated launch of Modern Warfare 2 has finally, it's perhaps no surprise that many are wondering if they can still upgrade to the highest-tier version of the game: the Vault Edition. Here's a breakdown of how to upgrade to the Vault Edition of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
How to Upgrade to Modern Warfare 2 Vault Edition
For those who've purchased a $70 edition of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (e.g. Standard, Cross-Gen, CODE) and want to upgrade to the $100 Vault Edition, there is a way to do so in-game regardless of what platform you're on.
In the in-game store in MW2, there is an option for players willing to pay the difference to upgrade their game to the Vault Edition for $30. This, of course, gives access to the Vault Edition's main draws: the Red Team 141 Operator Pack, the FJX Cinder Weapon Vault and the Season 1 Battle Pass + Tier Skips.
Early on into the game's launch, many players who seemingly bought the Vault Edition reported issues of them not properly receiving its items, though it appears Infinity Ward is continuing to remedy the situation.
