YouTube previewed a new show called Game On where fans and the internet's biggest gamers come together. It's described as an "interactive gaming livestream," and players will have a chance to watch their favorite streamers play the biggest games.
The livestream will premier on Aug. 27 at 4 p.m. ET on the official YouTube channel. The event will last two hours and feature over 60 content creators.

It's not just playing games as it's been revealed one segment will be hosted by Sean Evans of Hot Ones. Players will choose participants to fight each other in Street Fighter 6 and the loser will be forced to eat spicy wings.
Games listed as apart of the stream are Among Us, Fall Guys, Fortnite, Free Fire, Friday Night Funkin’, Grand Theft Auto V, Minecraft, Mortal Kombat 11, Poppy Playtime, Rocket League, Street Fighter 6, Trackmania, and many more. YouTube definitely trying to leverage its massive fanbase and influencer network to try something different. Twitch has slowly been making questionable moves for years now and this could help establish YouTube as the primary place for gamers.
