Who is Amy Schneider?

If you are a fan of ‘Jeopardy!’ and are looking forward to watching ‘Jeopardy! Masters’, then you might have a little idea of who Amy Schneider is. For those of you who don’t know just yet, Schneider isn’t just a ‘Jeopardy!’ contestant but also an American writer. In addition to that, she is most popularly known for holding the second-longest winning streak in the history of ‘Jeopardy!’. Fun fact: ‘Jeopardy!’ first began in 1964, so the history dates back decades ago, with over 8,000 episodes.

Schneider has made quite a splash when it comes to being a game show contestant as she is one of the highest-earning contestants of all time and represents the transgender community. She is officially a millionaire!

In an interview with Yahoo Entertainment, Schneider said, “And as I mentioned on the show, in eighth grade I was voted Most Likely to Be on Jeopardy! One Day. It was always sort of in my mind that it might be something I did at some point." Some dreams really do come true, and it’s time to see if Schneider rekindles the winning streak in ‘Jeopardy! Masters'.

Fans thrilled about Schneider’s return

Twitter has come together in the most positive and wholesome way as they welcome Schneider’s return in ‘Jeopardy! Masters'. One fan wrote, “Go Amy! I’ll be rooting for you!”, while another fan got emotional in their tweet and said, “Amy, I love you! You are a beautiful person and you inspire me to not give in to negative thinking. Thanks for being you!”

Schneider continues to inspire people all over America, and hopefully ‘Jeopardy! Masters’ will only boosts her popularity. Fans are not only thrilled about Schneider’s return but also love the way she looks on the spin-off show as one fan wrote, “You are doing amazingly! And love your look."

Schneider currently resides in Oakland, California, and fans from that particular area are also rooting for her as one said, “Let’s go Oakland!” Fans simply can’t keep calm about Schneider’s return and that’s obvious from a fan who tweeted, “~ Omg omg omg…”

While most fans seem to be siding with Schneider, a few might be conflicted as one tweeted, “My allegiance is split between you and Mattea. I'll be thrilled if either one of you wins. I'd wish you luck, but you don't need it. Woot-woot!” Nevertheless, Schneider may or may not win ‘Jeopardy! Masters’ but she has definitely won hearts!

Ken Jennings throws shade at Amy Schneider

As ‘Jeopardy! Masters’ begins, so does the banter between Jennings and Schneider, as Jennings caught up with the contestants Matt Amodio and Andrew He, and of course, Schneider. The trans contestant made a remark, noting her winnings, subtly throwing shade at her other contestants, which amused the audience. However, Jennings wasn't the one to hold back as he threw the shade right back at her, ending with a little, “Oh, sorry. I don’t want to offend." The back-and-forth banter between Jennings and Schneider is bound to continue because if there is anyone who can beat Jennings at his own game, it has to be Schneider.
