Nintendo have announced that Kirby's Dream Buffet is set to launch next week, on Aug. 17, 2022. The game sees numerous Kirby's compete in a variety of themed-minigames in a brand new take on the Battle Royale genre. The game features a number of different ways for players to play together, be it online or local. One to two players can play together on a single system, and local wireless supports two to four players. Online multiplayer supports one to four players.

Sadly, no. Kirby's Dream Buffet is not a free-to-play game. Players looking to get in on the latest Kirby game will need to purchase it from the Nintendo eShop.
Nintendo have at least kept the price down to a reasonable level. At the time of writing, players can pre-purchase Kirby's Dream Buffet for $14.99. The purchase also lets players pre-load the game, meaning on launch they'll be able to dive straight in.
