WEST HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA: Liev Schreiber faced backlash from Ariana Madix's fans after he criticized the 'Vanderpump Rules' star on social media. The 'Spotlight' actor commented on Madix's New York Times profile story, asking, "Is this news?" on Instagram. Although he later deleted the comment, #TeamAriana fans retaliated, including Madix's friend and 'Fancy Af Cocktails' co-writer Danny Pellegrino, who referred to Schreiber as his "arch-nemesis."
In response to the situation, Schreiber replied, "@dannypellegrino sincere apology to you and Ms Madix. Didn't realize I was in the entertainment section." Pellegrino accepted the clarification and jokingly wrote, "All in good fun! But happy to have you off the nemesis list & hopefully we can get you into Vanderpump Rules! This season is good as gold." However, fans expressed their anger through comments on Schreiber's posts, prompting him to later limit comments on his page. Currently, Madix is in New York City for a press tour, where she appeared on 'Today' show and 'The View' on Thursday, May 18.

'We do not interact': Ariana Madix opens up about living with ex Tom Sandoval after breakup
Tom Sandoval was caught having a month-long affair with Leviss
She did not address Schreiber's criticism and likely does not have time to respond to negative comments. The finale of 'Vanderpump Rules' season 10 aired amidst the revelation of her ex-boyfriend Tom Sandoval's month-long affair with one of her close friends, Raquel Leviss. Madix is now in a new relationship with Daniel Wai, and according to Page Six, the couple was seen engaging in PDA on Thursday night. They went on a double date with Madix's co-stars Scheana Shay and Brock Davies at Cathedrale in the Moxy East Village.
'Do not interact on any level'
Madix has previously stated that she and Sandoval "do not interact on any level," while Sandoval's assistants and Madix's best friends continue to stay in touch. Despite their fallout in March 2023 following Sandoval's affair with their co-star Raquel Leviss, the former couple is still residing together in their Valley Village modern farmhouse in California. They jointly purchased the house for $2 million in 2019, according to Page Six. Madix mentioned that Leviss has been sending letters to Sandoval at their California home, stating, "I just brought in the mail, saw it, put it on the table, and walked away." Madix added that the envelope "was in [Leviss'] handwriting," but neither Leviss nor Sandoval has addressed their current relationship status.
