LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: In 2022, influencer and boxer Jake Paul shared his views on why he believes he can't match MrBeast's dominance on YouTube, despite gaining widespread attention for his viral fights.

Jimmy Donaldson, better known as MrBeast, has become the most-subscribed content creator on YouTube. The 25-year-old influencer surpassed PewDiePie in subscriber count in November 2022 and now has over 210 million subscribers.

Mr. Beast, known for his high-stakes challenges and generous financial giveaways to fans and those in need, gained significant attention in 2022 with his successful recreation of Netflix's 'Squid Game' series.

On the other hand, Jake Paul has also become a prominent figure in social media. Following his success on Vine, he and his older brother, Logan Paul, transitioned to YouTube. Jake had a stint on a Disney series before fully dedicating himself to influencer boxing.

He made his boxing debut in 2018 on the undercard of the KSI vs. Logan Paul match. As of October 2022, he had defeated MMA legend Anderson Silva, establishing himself as the most renowned influencer-boxer worldwide.

With over 25 million YouTube subscribers himself, it stands to reason that some viewers might think Paul views MrBeast as competition…but the ‘Problem Child’ doesn’t see it that way. When YouTuber Anthony Pompliano asked Jake about MrBeast during a November 30, 2022 interview, he wondered if he would have been bigger than MrBeast had he stuck to YouTube instead of boxing.

“No,” Jake answered. He said, “He’s obsessed with it and has such a deep passion for it. And so, simply because of that, you can’t beat someone who loves it more than you.”

What's next for Jake Paul?

There is a great desire for more celebrity/YouTube boxing after the wildly successful 'Prime Card' event in Manchester and people are excitedly awaiting Jake Paul's next bout.

The American YouTuber, who has participated in several 'professional' fights, will return to the ring on December 15, which is just before Christmas, it has subsequently been reported. Although it's uncertain whether the opponent's true identity has even been decided behind the scenes, his opponent has not yet been officially confirmed. Several Boxing media representatives announced this on social media.

TalkSPORT's boxing editor Michael Benson posted on Twitter, "Announcement: Jake Paul's next fight will take place on December 15th, opponent TBC."
