Various members of the family, including Jim Bob and Michelle's daughter Jill Duggar and her husband, Derick Dillard, as well as Jim Bob's niece Amy Duggar and her husband, Dillon King, can be seen speaking out about their horrific experiences in a first peek at the upcoming show. Jill has grown apart from the hardline community in recent years as they embrace a more contemporary interpretation of Christianity. Jill is now in tears as they reveal all the secrets of their previous existence at the Institute in Basic Existence Principles Society.

Jill and her husband Derick Dillard were seen opening up to show producers in footage from the upcoming tell-all, which will be released on June 2. The mother of three was caught sitting on a couch, clutching her husband's hand and crying. In the background, production could be heard saying, "Thank you for agreeing to talk to us," as Jill gazed down at her pregnant tummy. "There's a story that's going to be told, and I would rather be the one telling it," the former TLC star could be heard saying as photographs of the Duggar family showed on the screen.

Docuseries to delve into Josh Duggar's child pornography charges

Josh Duggar's child pornography allegations will be explored in the docuseries. In 2019, he was sentenced to 12 years in jail. Years before his arrest, an explosive police report surfaced on the internet, claiming that the father-of-seven admitted to assaulting teenage women, including four of his siblings, and that his own parents were aware of the abuse but neglected to report it.

"How deep do we go? Because that's a rabbit hole. Damn," a man in the preview muttered when an old clip of reporters detailing Josh's controversy flashed across the screen.

The shocking May 18 teaser features Jill and her husband, Derick. Amy Duggar, her cousin, also makes a brief appearance. Amy has been vocal about Josh's controversies and his parents' reactions to them throughout the years. As of May 18, neither Jim Bob nor Michelle had publicly commented on the exposé or its trailer, nor have any of Jill's siblings.

'Shiny Happy People: Duggar Family Secrets' will premiere on June 2 on Amazon Prime.
