BRENTWOOD, CALIFORNIA: 'American Idol' fans are set for a big treat on May 21st, as the episode opens up the stage to more than a dozen famous performers. Viewers couldn't help but grimace when Pitbull kicked off the show with a performance during the finale episode, which they feel was a "lip-sync" performance.

Season 21 of the popular reality competition series 'American Idol' airs a new episode on Sunday, May 21, 2023, at PM ET on ABC. It follows the Top 3 contenders as they perform one more time for a chance at the coveted championship and the major cash prize of $250,000. From the renowned Pitbull to Season 2 alums Clay Aiken and Ruben Studdard, the roster for Sunday's episode is likely to keep fans fascinated.

Ryan Seacrest, the event's longtime host, began the evening by greeting the audience to the finale. Pitbull kicked up the live finale performances with a powerful rendition of his song 'Jumpin' while dressed sharply in all-white. Pitbull then sang 'Give Me Everything,' accompanied by the top 12 singers from season 21 of 'American Idol,' with backing dancers likewise dressed in all-white.
