Manchester United are not happy with full-back Brandon Williams' social media posts after inner-city rivals Manchester City won the UEFA Champions League.
In winning the Champions League, City became just the second team in English football history to win Europe's elite cup competition, the Premier League and the FA Cup in the same season - a feat also famously achieved by Man Utd in 1999.
After the Citizens' treble-securing 1-0 victory over Inter in Istanbul last Saturday, Williams took to social media to mock the achievement, writing: "nobody wants sloppy seconds", before dissing Red Devils legend Rio Ferdinand for praising 'fakesssssss'.

Since the social media posts, ESPN has reported that Manchester United are not happy with their full-back's comments, which were 'not welcomed' by the club.
Williams has been heavily linked with a loan move this summer, having played just one game during the 2022/23 season due a serious injury he suffered. The full-back has just one year left on his current contract at Old Trafford, with Man Utd retaining an option to extend it by a further year if they choose to.
The 22-year-old has previously been linked with a loan move to Fiorentina, as well as a number of Championship clubs.
