Fantasy FUT returns in FIFA 23 giving fans the opportunity to add some top tier cards to their squads ahead of FUT Birthday and Team of the Season. Fantasy FUT cards upgrade based on real world achievements. Each player item can upgrade four times in total by meeting the following criteria:

• Upgrade 1: One win in next six games
• Upgrade 2: Three appearances in next six games
• Upgrade 3 Attackers/Midfielders: Two goals or assists in next six games
• Upgrade 3 Defenders/Goalkeepers: Two clean sheets in next six games
• Upgrade 4: Avoid defeat in next six games (three new traits)

These upgrades are only eligible for teams in their next six domestic league games starting Mar. 17. Atletico Madrid forward Memphis Depay received an SBC item requiring three segments to complete.

Fantasy FUT Depay is rated 89 overall and has the potential to go up to 93. Keep in mind these SBCs are going to be priced with the potential upgrades baked in. Depay is a fan-favorite for many in FUT considering his five-star skill moves. Unfortunately this card did not receive a weak foot upgrade, so keep that in mind when deciding to do this card.
