Vondel Battle Royale is now live in Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4 Reloaded with a Gulag that pays tribute to the iconic Verdansk.
Warzone Season 4 Reloaded comes stacked with new weapon changes, an overpowered MX Guardian Shotgun, and a crossover with Amazon Prime Video's, The Boys. Players can purchase Starlight and Homelander Bundles in the store, as well as the Black Noir Operator that looks to be the next Roze skin.
The update also finally delivers another map for Battle Royale fans to explore. Vondel, which originally launched only as a DMZ and Resurgence map, is now available to play in traditional Battle Royale, along with Al Mazrah. The smaller map contains a 72-person lobby and a Gulag that looks strikingly similar to a Verdansk staple.
New Vondel Gulag Brings Verdansk to Warzone Season 4 Reloaded
The Vondel Gulag, located in the wine cellar and dungeon beneath the Castle POI, resembles the beloved Verdansk Showers Gulag. Although the new iteration consists of stone structures and not Prison showers, the layout is almost identical to the original Gulag in Verdansk.
The Vondel Gulag is a three-lane map designed for 1v1 combat. The subterranean area is a lot smaller than Al Mazrah's Gulag and has less places to find cover. Players will almost always be forced to take their gunfights in the center of the map.
Although the Gulag is never where you want to end up, at least the Verdansk nostalgia in the Vondel Gulag will provide a pleasant distraction before you must fight for your life.
