It looks like Packers legend Mason Crosby is officially leaving Green Bay after selling his million-dollar home and buying a new one in Tennessee.

Mason Crosby is a free agent but the Packers haven't entirely closed the door on his return.

The real estate listing just did though.

At the end of May, Crosby sold his Green Bay home for $1.35 million, according to the Green bay Press Gazette. He also bought a new home in Tennessee.

If all of the other writing on the wall that Crosby's time in Green Bay was up, like his wife saying it was so in a since-deleted tweet, this nugget should pretty much seal the deal.

The Crosbys had lived in the 6,140-squad-foot home since 2016 when they bought the five-bedroom, five-bathroom property for $620,000. Property values sure have gone up in their neighborhood since then.

Mason Crosby selling Green Bay home is final nail in Packers departure

It's a bummer to see a team legend depart but it has been clear for awhile that the 38-year-old would soon be on his way out. Only 20.3 percent of his kickoffs in 2022 were touchbacks. He did rally from a down 2021 season to hit 86.2 percent of his field goal attempts though.

Still, the Packers haven't seemed willing to keep paying a premium for an aging kicker, even if he's the team's career leader at the position.

The Packers drafted Anders Carlson out of Auburn in the sixth round of the 2023 NFL Draft. So that says it all.

Crosby was also drafted in the sixth round back in 2007. He went on to set franchise records for scoring, field goals and extra points across his 16 seasons with the team. It's tough to imagine any of those records being broken, so he'll always have a place in Packers history.

He apparently isn't ready to hang up his cleats though. He has not admitted to any retirement plans, so we'll have to see where he lands.
