Players have new Mega and Five-Star Raid Pokémon to look forward to during the beginning of April in Pokémon GO.
Every month, players can expect a good two or three Mega and Five-Star raids for them to take part in, in order to catch some very strong Pokémon. The Mega raids will give players the opportunity to fight and, hopefully, capture a Pokémon capable of Mega Evolution, and Five-Star raids usually feature incredibly strong Pokémon that are typically legendary Pokémon.
Below is some information on what we know about the raids taking place next month in Pokémon GO.
Pokemon GO Raid Schedule April 2023
Not every raid is known for the month of April but an event beginning March 28 and ending April 10 will yield players a special Mega Pokémon and a Legendary Pokémon to expect in their raids.
The Mega Raid for this period is going to be Mega Alakazam, being a Kanto Pokémon, this may be a reference to the fact the event it is listed under being titled the "Let's Go" event. Being a Psychic-type, players should prepare their strongest Ghost-, Dark- and Bug-type Pokémon to get themselves an Alakazam capable of mega evolution.
The Legendary event is going to be Lugia, a Jhoto legendary who shares Mega Alakazam's Psychic typing, but is also a Flying-type. This is, naturally, going to be a five-star raid, so players should ready their Dark-type Pokémon to take care of Lugia.
