While the Pokémon GO Tour focusing on the Hoenn region has come and gone, what lingers is the Wish Granted Research task only available by buying a ticket for the potential to get a Shiny Jirachi. Players beware, this is not an easy task, as even though not all steps of the Research have been made available, the ones that have are proving difficult for participating players.
The ticket to this research task could be purchased for $5, and the steps to complete during the course of this task will show players why this is the case.
Below, players can find information on each step available at the time of publishing this article, as well as the rewards for completing each piece of the step, and the step entirely.
Pokémon GO: Wish Granted Research
Below is the requirements to complete each of the three revealed steps of research, keep in mind there are three steps that have not been revealed yet. Each step takes around two weeks to complete, so the next step's reveal should appear 14 days after Step 3 was released, and oce it is, you can find more information on DBLTAP.
Step 1 of 6
- Catch 385 Pokémon from the Kanto region - 385 XP
- Catch 385 Pokémon from the Jhoto region - 385 XP
- Catch 385 Pokémon from the Hoenn region - 385 XP
- Earn a gold Hoenn medal (these are received by catching 90 unique Pokémon species from Hoenn) - 30 Ultra Balls
The reward for completing this step is 10 Groudon, Kyogre and Rayquaza candies.
Step 2 of 6
- Have 10 Best Buddies - 1 Poffin
- Earn a heart with your Best Buddy Pokémon for 20 days in a row - 1 Poffin
The reward for completing this step is 3850 XP and three rare candies.
Step 3 of 6
- Catch five Keckleon - 1 Incense
- Spin a PokéStop sign 14 days in a row - 1 Incense
The rewards for completing this step are the same for the previous step, 3850 XP and three rare candies.
