BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS: Reese Witherspoon has clarified that reports claiming that she’s a billionaire are not true!

The ‘Wild’ actress said over NBC News Daily on Friday, September 8, “I didn't'. They’re wrong.”

Her remark was in reference to Draper James' statement that Consortium Brand Partners had acquired a 70% ownership stake in Witherspoon’s fashion He called her the "the wealthiest self-made female actor in the world."

The claim led to wild theories as many outlets started speculating that the ‘Legally Blonde’ star is likely to join the billionaire club.

Especially referring to the fact that she sold her production company Hello Sunshine for a whopping $900 million, as per People.

Witherspoon added, “That’s enormously flattering and if I ever touched the bottom of whatever Oprah’s magic golden boots do, I would be so lucky.”

On maintaining a fruitful strong inner circle, Witherspoon said, “Everybody out there over 40 knows. If you aren’t adding to my life, get the heck outta my life.”

She then looked towards the audience and said, “Edit your friendships.”

“My grandma used to say people are radiators or drains. Stick with radiators.” my life, get the heck outta my life,” she continued.

The INBOUND conference was aimed at "focus[ing] on human connection to drive transformative growth, meaningful conversations, and actionable insights.”

The event brought “industry-spanning icons, marketing [and] sales leaders, wellness experts, and acclaimed authors” to Boston city.

How did Hello Sunshine production come into existence?

Reese Witherspoon opened up on how she launched her production firm. “I was told not to put my own money in it several times by many, many advisors. I saw people who were taking money from studios, and I saw how watered down the product was. I saw that they were sitting on material that never got made,” she explained.

Recently, the 47-year-old talked about how to deal with rejections.

“I think I started so young, and rejection was such an early piece of my life that I learned a long time ago that other people's opinions of me are none of my business,” she said at HubSpot’s annual INBOUND event.

The actress continued, “I really don't care what anybody thinks. I'm gonna do my work anyway. I'm gonna date whoever I want, go hang out with a friend nobody likes. When you release that feeling of other people's opinions crushing you or holding you down, you're free. You’re totally free.”
