A Singapore review into residences rented by two ministers found no evidence of corruption or criminal wrongdoing, the Straits Times reported Wednesday, citing a report submitted to parliament.

In its report to Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, the Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau said it found no preferential treatment given to Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan, Law Minister K Shanmugam and their spouses.

There was also no disclosure of privileged information in rental transactions process involving the two bungalows rented by the ministers, according to the newspaper.
