With the Las Vegas leg of the Pokémon GO Tour: Hoenn coming to an end last weekend, and the event becoming available for players around the globe this weekend, picking a team to represent for the duration of the event can seem difficult, all things considered.
When players activate the ticket for the event in their Pokémon GO app, they will see the choice to pick either Team Ruby or Team Sapphire. Based on the team that players choose, they will have the opportunity every hour to complete Field Research tasks for that team that will have specific rewards (explained below).
When players pick their team, they are put in competition with the opposite team until the end of the event. Completing more and more tasks will put your team ahead for an additional bonus when the event ends.
