Manchester United goalkeeper Tom Heaton believes that new signing Andre Onana can have a transformative impact on the team's playing style.
United acquired Onana from Inter for £47m as a replacement for David de Gea, who faced challenges in executing manager Erik ten Hag's preference for playing out from the back - that contributed to the decision to let the Spanish goalkeeper leave the club without a agreeing a new contract.
"I can see already how [Onana's] going to fit into the manager's style," said Heaton.
"He looks really good with his feet and I am already picking up a little bit up about how he does things slightly different to what I've seen before."

Onana made 145 appearances under Ten Hag at Ajax. He then made the move to Inter on a free transfer, only spending one season there. During the Italian's side Champions League campaign, Onana impressed, particularly in the final against Manchester City, drawing praise Pep Guardiola.
"In the Premier League, we've got Ederson and Alisson and they've changed that goalkeeping side a little bit. Most teams play that way now," continued Heaton.
"Onana has come in to us now. Time will tell. I think Pep said it was difficult for [Manchester City] to get on a high press on with him playing like that. I was really impressed with him in that game and I'm looking forward to working with him, competing with him and we'll see how it plays out."
After linking up with the squad too late to feature against Arsenal on Saturday, Onana is set to make his unofficial debut for United in their upcoming pre-season match against Real Madrid in Houston.
