The Division Resurgence is Ubisoft's upcoming free-to-play mobile game for Android and iOS devices.
Yesterday, Ubisoft announced that the next game in The Division series would be a mobile title called The Division Resurgence. According to the announcement, the game can be played solo or in co-op and will be set in the "ravaged streets of NYC."
Players will choose between a selection of class roles and fight against enemy factions in a block-by-block battle. The game will offer a new perspective on the story events of The Division and The Division 2. It will reportedly be set in a "vast open-world," with players utilizing a range of loot, crafting, mods, and upgrades to fight enemies.
Ubisoft posted a short reveal trailer for the upcoming game, showing small glimpses of footage of the game's engine. Though the trailer doesn't show-off any of the expected gameplay, players do get to see the overall look and feel of the title.
Those who are eager to be one of the first to try out The Division Resurgence can sign up to Closed Alpha via Ubisoft's website for either Android or iOS.
The Division Resurgence doesn't have an official release date just yet, but many are expecting the game to launch by the end Ubisoft’s next fiscal year, in March 2023.
