The Valorant LOCK//IN 2023 tournament begins on Feb. 13. Since there will be a myriad of fans gathering to watch the exciting matches, Riot Games has added things to reward viewership and support throughout the tournament.
Specifically, Riot added a new melee weapon skin bundle that players can acquire to support their respective regions, as half the proceeds from the bundle go to the partnered teams in the tournament.
Players are wondering if there will be any Valorant Twitch drops to reward viewership of live games, which has been done in past events.
Valorant LOCK//IN 2023 Twitch Drops: Are There Any?
There will be drops on both YouTube and Twitch for the Valorant LOCK//IN 2023 event, including a Dad Hat gun buddy and a "Locked In" title. Players will have to connect their Riot account to their YouTube or Twitch account, and they must watch a live tournament game during a specified time period.
Connecting accounts is easy, as you just have to go to your YouTube or Twitch account settings and click on the tab labeled "Connections." Then, there is an option to connect your Riot account that will finish the process.
In order to get the "Locked In" title, players just need to watch a live tournament game at any point during the tournament, from Feb. 13 to Mar. 4.
The Dad Hat gun buddy is more difficult to acquire because players must watch the Grand Finals on March 4 to get the drop.
An important thing to note is that players must watch the game on the platform that has their accounts linked, otherwise they will not receive the drop.
