Riot Games announced a new Team Deathmatch mode coming to Valorant in the near future.
A recent Dev Diaries from the Valorant developers revealed major information regarding the future of the FPS game, including two new Agents coming by the end of 2023. One is a Sentinel who will "stop you dead in your tracks and pull you in for a closer look" while the other is a Duelist.
The video also confirmed Team Deathmatch's arrival in Valorant. Anna Donlon, the Executive Producer of Valorant, teased its release back in January, and now, Game Director, Andy Ho, has revealed more information about the new mode.
Here's a breakdown of Valorant Team Deathmatch's features and release date.
Valorant Team Deathmatch Release Date
Valorant Team Deathmatch will release along with Episode 7. Although Riot Games has not provided a specific date for the new Episode, it is expected to drop on June 27.
Ho assures the new "fast-paced" mode will include "tactical gunplay with weapons across the arsenal, Agents and their abilities, and new maps." The maps will not be featured in competitive play and will instead be designed specifically for Team Deathmatch.
Episode 7 will also allow players to unlock accessories from previous Battle Passes, perhaps giving fans the opportunity to finally claim the Ruin Dagger.
