The VALORANT Champions Tour by Riot Games is in its third year, and it will include a major tournament called LOCK//IN that will begin later this month.
There will be a total of 32 teams competing in LOCK//IN from all across the world, and the tournament will feature numerous inter-regional matches for fans to enjoy. There will be representatives from VCT Americas, VCT EMEA, VCT Pacific, and China.
Unlike most Valorant tournaments, LOCK//IN will be a single elimination tournament that consists of three stages: Alpha, Omega, and Finals. The Alpha and Omega stages contain one bracket of 16 teams each, and those teams will play best of three series' until two teams remain from both brackets. The Finals stage will be played as a best of five format, and consists of semifinals and grand finals for the four remaining teams.
