Our Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 assault rifle tier list for February 2023 is here to go over the best guns to use on Al Mazrah.
Although Season 2 will bring new changes on Feb. 15, the current assault rifle meta is still in a state of flux. Here is an updated tier list for the last two weeks of Season 1.
Warzone 2 Assault Rifle Tier List February 2023
S Tier
- TAQ-56
- Kastov 762
- M4
The TAQ-56 is still the best AR to run on Al Mazrah. Although most players opt for the RPK, the TAQ-56 wields the best balance for long and medium range engagements. The Kastov 762 climbed the ranks due to its deadly headshot multiplier. The M4 is not as flashy as its S Tier partners, but it remains a go-to weapon in Call of Duty.
A Tier
- Kastov-74u
- M13B
Our A Tier houses the Kastov-74u for its lethal close-range damage. The gun is technically an AR, but more and more players enjoy running it for its SMG qualities. The M13B contains a 60-round mag that is perfect for gunfights on Al Mazrah. Players in Trios or Squads can fight multiple oncoming enemies from long range without having to frequently reload.
B Tier
- STB 556
- Chimera
- Lachmann-556
The STB 556, Chimera, and Lachmann-556 fall into the B Tier. With so many other overpowered options, most players will only run these weapons if they find them off-spawn. The Chimera's stealth qualities set it apart from the other ARs, but its lack of range suppressed any excitement for the unique gun.
C Tier
- Kastov 545
- M16
Our C Tier weapons are once again the Kastov 545 and the M16. As the weakest Kastovia weapon in the game, the Kastov 545 never surged to popularity. Although it received a buff in Season 1 Reloaded, the weapon still produces insufficent damage. And, as always in Call of Duty, a burst weapon like the M16 will never catch on amongst other elite ARs in the title.
Once Season 2 drops, we will release an updated tier list to reflect the inevitable new meta.
