Wondering exactly when you'll get to drop into the new Ashika Island map in Warzone 2? Here's what you need to know.
It's been a long wait, but Warzone 2 Season 2 is finally on the horizon. While there's plenty of new content about to drop, the most exciting of all is the brand new Resurgence map Ashika Island. With Rebirth Island now in the rear-view mirror, there was an opening for a new Resurgence map to take its place and Activision has provided one that's roughly 30% bigger than previous small maps.
The map will be available for all squad sizes – Solos, Duos, Trios, and Quads – within regular Playlist updates throughout the season. There's also a new element to this Resurgence map — Restore Honor. Every player on Ashika Island will drop a dog tag on death once per match. This can be collected by a squadmate or themselves, earning a small amount of Cash and a UAV ping to mark nearby enemies and Supply Boxes.
Whether it is finding out who downed a squadmate or getting a head start on rebuilding a Loadout, choosing to Restore Honor is a solid strategy for continued survival.
In addition, players will be able to take their DMZ fights to Ashika Island. Operators can now infiltrate Ashika Island which will be crucial to the experience’s continued narrative. The map will contain other new features like Boss Hideouts.
Getting a head start when it comes to new maps can serve you well in the early days of its existence, so what time does Ashika Island launch?
