Fans excited for new Call of Duty: Warzone 2 Resurgence map, Vondel, will not have to wait much longer.
Despite no Warzone 2 Season 4 roadmap from the Call of Duty Staff just yet, leaks have reported a new Resurgence map coming in the major update. Vondel is rumored to take place in the Netherlands and contain 12 POIs.
The map is bigger than Ashika Island, but still smaller than the massive Al Mazrah. Ashika Island only has seven POIs, and the water surrounding half of them make for some unpleasant gameplay. Vondel appears to have many more options, including a possible nod to Verdansk Stadium.
Here's a breakdown of when Vondel is coming to Warzone 2.
When is Warzone 2 Vondel Coming Out?
Vondel is allegedly coming to Warzone 2 on June 14. Although Infinity Ward has not confirmed the map, Vondel is set to go live with Season 4.
Vondel is reportedly the first map developed by Beenox since Rebirth Island. The fan-favorite Resurgence map does not seem to be returning to the Battle Royale, but perhaps a fresh playground by the same developer will be an even better addition.
Vondel will also eventually expand to support DMZ as the season progresses.
