Danielle Ruhl and Nick Thompson have split up since being married in June 2021 after first becoming acquainted in Season 2

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS: Not all 'Love Is Blind' contestants demonstrated that they could find The One without seeing their future companion, but they sure provided the drama while trying.

Following the popularity of season 1, the Netflix series returned in February 2022 with six new couples, and we have an update on where they are today.

Love is loving, understanding, tumultuous, and untidy, but is it truly blind? Can a 10-day trial produce true, enduring love?

If you still have concerns after seeing more than one 'Love Is Blind' cast member walk out on a wedding, the postseason reunion episode could help. We also dug into the season's daters to fill in any gaps about how they are currently faring.

Here are the positions of the contented couples, singles, and self-described "villains" after seeing their relationships develop on TV.

Nick Thompson and Danielle Ruhl

The Chicago-based couple was initially still going strong, telling Us Weekly in March 2022 that couples counseling helped them build on their communication after the program.

Danielle will celebrate their first anniversary in June 2022. They divorced two months later. On August 15, 2022, Danielle filed for divorce in Cook County Circuit Court in Illinois.

Jarrette Jones and Iyanna McNeely

After one year of marriage, the couple called it quits in June 2022, and their divorce was finalized later that year.

Abhishek 'Shake' Chatterjee

Shake revealed to Us Weekly in March 2022 that he had a girlfriend called Emily Wilson who resides in Florida. The 'Love Is Blurry' podcast host revealed his plans to depart Chicago for the site.

Shake also changed careers after the program.

"I’m taking a break from being a vet. The vet field is amazing in so many ways, but it’s also incredibly draining, both physically and emotionally," he added, stressing his ambitions to "pivot into this new, exciting world" of cryptocurrency.

Deepti Vempati

While she seems "indifferent" to her ex, Shake, Deepti, and Kyle have been the subject of suspicion since the reunion episode.

She expressed her desire for Kyle Abrams to be her spouse in the last episode of 'After the Altar'. However, Kyle disclosed that the twosome had separated during the summer only days after the series, which was taped in March, went live.

Kyle Abrams

Kyle has continued to fuel rumors about his relationship with Deepti, claiming in March 2022 that he regrets not pursuing her further.

After months of speculation, it was revealed that Kyle and Deepti were dating during the After the Altar episodes, which premiered in September 2022.

He subsequently revealed on Instagram that the couple split up during the filming of After the Altar.

Two months later, the Illinois native made his relationship with Tania Leanos public. In April 2023, the pair confirmed their engagement.

Shaina Hurley

Shaina made her relationship with her current partner, Christos Lardakis, public in March 2022, and they announced their engagement the following month.

The couple exchanged vows at a Chicago courthouse on July 20, 2022, with his daughter as one of the witnesses. The couple, who live in Illinois, married again in Greece the following month.

Shaina revealed that the couple's first child will be born in September 2023.

Salvador 'Sal' Perez

Sal told Bustle in March 2022 that he "met someone completely random, and it's been great," but he hasn't made his new relationship public.

Mallory Zapata

Sal and Mallory went out after the show, but their relationship didn't last.

Shayne Jansen

Shayne still works in real estate in Chicago and made waves in March 2022 when he posted a photo of his bodily makeover on Instagram. Shayne, who looks to be unmarried, stated that he and Natalie attempted to date multiple times after the program, but Natalie gave a different memory.

Natalie Lee

According to the influencer, she and Shayne only dated "twice" after their wedding and "not four times."
